Kauft nichts Unfreies: Es gehört nicht euch, denn Sony darf Linux auf der PS3 aussperren
→ Antwort auf den Kommentar Denkt bitte an diesen Unsinn hier, wenn ihr nächstes Mal von Sony was kauft zum Artikel Klage gegen Sony wegen Linux-Aussperrung von der PS3 weitgehend abgewiesen auf Heise.
Ich habe aufgehört von Sony zu kaufen, als ich Ersatz für Wattepads meiner 70 Mark Kopfhörer brauchte, und Sony dafür 50 Mark pro Pad wollte.
Langfristig hat sich das als richtig erwiesen, auch wenn ich die Spiele der Playstation vermisse…
Die konsequente Reaktion ist übrigens, keine unfreie Hardware oder Software zu kaufen. Alles, das ich nicht vollständig selbst kontrollieren kann, gehört mir nicht wirklich.
→ Wo immer möglich nur freie Software nutzen, also auch kein Windows oder MacOSX, sondern nur GNU/Linux, BSD, GNU Hurd oder ähnliche.
Unfreies nur dort nutzen, wo es egal wäre, wenn es morgen schon nicht mehr existieren würde.
