Measured Temperature, Graben-Neudorf, South-West Germany
I measured the outside temperature on Sat 2026-06-27 with a common household thermometer. The max temperature was 42.8°C around 15:00 – in the shade but without good ventilation. I recorded two short measurement series, uploaded here to provide a datapoint, though with bad data quality.

T1 is on the terrace, south side, in the shade but with bad ventilation. The terrace has a plastic roof and between the roof and the thermometer there’s another metal sheet with holes to avoid direct heating from the roof emissions.
T2 is in front of the door, west side. Data only until the sunshine got there.
T3 is on the east side, only one data point to compare with T1 and estimate the effect of the bad ventilation on the terrace.
Note: this is just a hobby measurement. To get reliable data, look at official measurements which are setup much better to be comparable to other measurements. For example the measurements by DWD (Deutscher Wetterdienst; German Weather Service). The closest should be „Karlsruhe-Rheinst.“, roughly 20km south from here. It showed 38.8°C at 15:00 where I saw 42.8°C on the terrace.
